So, has this mare foaled yet? It doesn't seem that any of them have.

Still waiting. Udders are full, tail head has relaxed, and she looks and acts miserable. Hope she has this baby soon!

Well, after literally MONTHS of waiting, Callie FINALLY delivered a beautiful little filly this morning! She is a pretty little thing with really long legs. She is a solid charcoal gray color with a big star. I think she will probably turn black. She is also showing some striping on her legs, very faint but it is definitely there. She is a bashful baby and likes to hide behind her mama. She already loves getting scratches and works her little lips like crazy because it feels so good! She is a total doll. ;D

I got to visit this little girl. She is a looker! Her legs were about as long as her mom's and she has the prettiest head. Since there is no way to know who the sire is one can only guess he was a good one. She has a look of class about her.

I am currently without a digital camera. Long story...... As soon as I can, I will get some pictures of Miss Ashlie and post them.

PS: She had her halter breaking and leading lesson a week ago and caught on quickly. Not only is she beautiful, but she has brains too. I'm so lucky! ;D

I just posted new pics of Callie & her filly, Ashlie on my website. Feel free to go check them out. If you click on her name, it will take you to more pics.
