I like pea gravel footing in my round pen. Gives the horses hooves something to grab on to and its a great exfoliator for my barefoot horses hooves. Its also pretty dust free and easy for me to move around on when I am working out there.

does it hurt their feet if they are tender footed? We don't have pea gravel in florida. and to get it would be mucho $$$$ !!! I just use clay/sand mix and it is ok, not great, but ok. I love your round pen mk!! it is really nice.
