Two Arabian Mares

I am looking for two Arabian mares. One is the daughter of the other.

The dam is Sweet Rachel (VP Juhlie X Dorian Shah El Shams), AHR*355984. I don't have any photos of her, only a color description, which is simply, "chestnut". She was born May 12th, 1986. I was told by a breeder in Florida that "last time she checked", Rachel was in a rescue in Massachusetts.

Her filly, Bint Sweet Rachel (Sweet Rachel X Sunday Best C), AHR*541575, was born July 21st, 1995. She is a chestnut with a blaze. The same breeder who gave me the tip on her dam said "last time she heard" for sale on the Cape. I found an address for her last-known owner, and wrote a letter, which got returned "undeliverable as addressed". There are two photos of her, but they are very grainy.

I have tons of information on Sweet Rachel's dam, VP Juhlie, if that will help any. I knew VP Juhlie from the rescue I work at, but she passed away 7/13/2007.

It is important for me and the others at this rescue, to find Sweet Rachel and Bint Sweet Rachel. We all feel, especially me because that horse was my world, that we owe this to her. We all think this will be a "thank you" to everything VP Juhlie did for us. As sick as she was, she still lightened everyone's mood that met her. She helped me get through one of the toughest times in my life, and for that, I'll love her forever. And not just because of that, we were best friends.
