I had gotten approved to adopt through CBER (last August) and had wanted to adopt Flapper. The very day I asked about him, he went to someone else. I just always wondered where he went and how he is doing. I just thought he was so dang cute and so brave to endure daily treatment for his wound.

Status: Adopted Price: $500 Arrived: 8/4/2006 Age: 14 years old Height: 15.2 hands Weight: Gender: Gelding Primary Color: Chestnut Secondary Color: Type: Riding Breed: Anglo-Arab Registration: Condition: Temperament: Training:
Located at Camelot Farms in Yakima, WA.
FLAPPER - 14 year old, 15.2h, Anglo-Arab, chestnut gelding. This gelding came in with a large cut, we had the vet come out and cut off the flap. He is healing great but the wound area is a large so it will take a while to completely heal. He has been wormed, feet trimmed and vaccinated. Look for riding photos in the next few days.
Update: 8/14/06 - This horse is a really nice mover. He has get up and go and would not be a good beginners horse but would make a great horse for an intermediate and up rider. He has smooth gaits and transitions moving nicely through each gait. He is responsive to leg and rein pressure and appears to be sound minded. he could use some work on his head carriage but other than that a nice all-around guy.
=========================================================
Does this mean that people paid for this horse and Sam got him and took him to her place? I don't know, just asking. But........I had read repeatedly that she had around 30 head on her "camelot" property....so.........

Oh, I pm'd qhorse on COTH - she must have wondered about me. Funny how pictures are enough to trigger emotional response. I'd love to know what happened to Flapper.
