She was adopted. if you go to the main site and click Available Horses, you will then get a page that includes a link to the adopted horses. They are listed by the horses lot name.
The list is in the process of being updated so if you see someone missing, check back again and they may be there. If you have adopted a horse and want to include updated info please email it in and I think they can add it.

Who adopted her? There are no updates.. They don't generally publish adopters names, wouldn't really be appropriate to do without permission. I think they settled into letting the adopter decide to reveal who they are or not. As well as whether to update the BB or not. There may have been updates on the BB, but it was never a requirement of adoption to provide the public with updates or pictures.

I remember reading on the old board that someone spotted Dulci on a group trail ride. They even took a couple pics of her. I fell in love with Dulci. ;D

It is nice to see people remembering horses that they care about and expressing continued concern for their well being. That is part of what rescue is all about. Placing a horse in a home isn't the end of it-there is the continued concern for the horses welfare. It is hard for people invloved with these horses to not be able to access updates-maybe that will change soon. HT thanks for filling in some of the blanks

I have been told some people were offended by a post/posts of mine on this thread, That was not the intent of the posts, I was just answering questions people asked. So heres the just the facts version
They are updating the website to hopefully make more info available. I'm sure folks can update their horses info if they want just email it in. If you adopted a horse, your name and adress would only be available to Staff not the public. That is why it doesn't say who adopted her.
On a more personal level. I like to read updates as much as anyone else. I see their value and the togetherness they promote. I think my history of posting Cordie and Stang tales speaks for itself on this matter. It would be wonderful if everyone had taken the time to update, but some didn't and won't. Even though we may want to know, it wasn't a requirement to adopt.
Not sure but if they will do it, just a thought ... If you want to get in touch with a horse's adopter you could perhaps email your contact info to one of the staff and ask them to pass it on to the adopter.

Sorry, Tockita, but after the CBEr BB supporters were left to think that Blaze and Adam had shipped when the "higher-ups" knew they were in fact alive, and now that they have admitted that Minnie didn't ship, but was "adopted," it's kinda hard to believe them unless they want to pony up more information.
I definitely take the word "adopted" with a grain of salt when it comes to CBEr. They have made too many "mistakes" (cough, cough) to be credible at all in my book. JMO.

I have been thinking that other rescue has its own dictionary where the definition of words can change to suit the occasion. "truth" and "credibility" won't be found in that dictionary at all....

Okay, People are interested in Dulci, she has her own little fan club (me included) tockita tried to answer the best way she could as to how to find out about Dulci. There are some concerns by members about the ability and willingness of the agency responsible for placing her giving information. Please post if you know anything about Dulci under a new thread-call it Dulci found or something. This one is turning into an opportunity for people to take swipes at an organization that they do not agree with and that is not the intent of this board or this thread. The thread is being temporarily locked down

Thank you Syndi - this thread was started with honest interest in an endearing horse. I appreciate that tockita responded to my request last night. I hope people will self-moderate today - take the middle road.
