Thursday, April 9th... Sarah Beer says she has a fun last name. Other kids are always asking, did your dad invent beer? At our front gate Sarah Beer gives us 5 bags of Equine Senior. She wants to meet Oscar Award.
Also a big Thank You to Merissa, who wrote a special letter just for Oscar Award. Merissa is 9, and tells me to read Oscar her letter after she has left. So I did.
A big Thank You to Alexis for the bag of horse cookies. Yummy.
A big Thank You to Hailey, who used her allowance money to buy the pregnant mare Zoe a bag of Equine Senior. Hailey is 12, and lives right here in Woodland. She gave Zoe a good luck kiss on her huge belly.
This e-mail from Zoe, who lives in Oregon. Zoe writes: My name is Zoe and I am due to give birth to a boy on May 7th. What are the odds your mare Zoe will also deliver on May 7th?
This e-mail from Kelly Bonds, no relation to Barry. Kelly writes: If you need help foal watching just let me know. I can bring microwave waffles from Eggo.
This e-mail from our friend Wendy. Wendy writes: Send Zoe to me. I am up every night with a term paper anyway. Hot coffee made by Starbucks. Foal enema from Walgreens.
It is Thursday, with a cold rain coming. We might be 62 degrees. The Red Sox are 1-1. We are shoulder to shoulder, hock to hock. Enjoy your back to winter Thursday, and be sure to hug your horses. Chicago on the oldies station...
