WOW! I want to thank everybody who voted for "3 Nosey Redheads", the current week's photo. That is Beauty, Malibu, and Merryana (Gigondas)...you can barely see her ear. They were intrigued by the arrival of another mare, off in the round pen, when I snapped this photo.
Beauty & Merryana (now Gigondas) are doing well...Beauty got kicked by "you know who" (Gigondas) and has been limping lately, but today she sprang straight up into the air, landed, and FARTED!!! Oh, and ran off! She LOVES attention! If I scratch my gelding, she'll come over and DEMAND ATTENTION! She is very people-friendly, VERY LOVING.
I get teary eyed whenever I think that SOMEBODY dumped her, sent her to auction, and risked sending her to slaughter!!! She is just the friendliest little thing!!! Very sweet. LOVES people and attention! She's been saddled and will probably be ridden this summer! Gigondas is my husband's horse...She only LOVES HIM, but she'll accept scratches from me, if she's in the mood! Both are doing well in sunny Southern California!
Thanks again! Sundancer (Cheryl Ann)

Congratulations Cheryl! The picture makes a great background, by the way.

I call this one "Silly Cali and the bowl"...she ate EVERYTHING in it and then grabbed it in her teeth to see if there was anything left underneath!!!

"Peek a boo"...our herd was gathered late afternoon waiting for their dinner...this is "Scout" looking over things, as usual!!! She and Cali are our two little BLM mustang fillies we just adopted 6 weeks ago. That is Merryana (now Gigondas), the big redhead, next to her. Gigondas is now herd leader.

Here is one of my favorite of Dakota and HyTyme's Lady Bean. It was during one of their training sessions and she had been doing everything perfectly. LB nuzzled Dakota like she was telling him what a good girl she was.

How cute! Don't you just love them when their feet are in the air? Especially after you've just given them A BATH???
