I was contacted privately by the owner of this horse. She is in the process of moving to a place where she will not be able to keep her horses at home. She cannot afford to board 3 horses, so she needs to find a home for this mare ASAP. She doesn't want the horse to go to slaughter, but we have got to get a home for her immediately as she has no place to put this mare in a few days. The mare is registered TB and was raced at one point. Her registered name is Cuties Daughter. Her owner said she is sound, and could be ridden with refresher training. The past several years she has been a broodmare. She is supposed to be easy to catch, leads, and will let her feet be handled. Can anyone closer help this lady out? Email me at shelly@sunnyacresranch.com and I can give you the contact information for her.

A member on another bulletin board recognized this mare's name and had this to say about her:
"I know this mare (from when she was young) and I know the girl that broke her. She was well started. We would pony/trail ride everything as well as get them track ready so she was more than just racetrack broke."
So, it shouldn't take too much to get her back under saddle again.

Thanks for everyone's help! With all our combined efforts, this mare not only has a good home offer, but a strong backup offer that will pick her up on Saturday if the first home is unable to take her by then. Another great success story! You guys are awesome!
