Hey, that's great to hear about her. How has she been doing riding-wise? I remember you had an "interesting" first ride with her! She is a beautiful mare, I hope things are turning out well with her.

Well I'm still working with her on the ridding and I haven't been bucked off again. (that's always good news) It's a slow process.

Yes, staying on is ALWAYS GOOD! We had these kids at the show on their wild eventing prospects and they would come off and just bounce right up and get back on and go jump again. It sure doesn't work that way after you hit 30 or so!

Ha ha, I know - I have 6 more months of my 30's left and I am doing my best not to hit the ground anymore!
I was laughing last night as I was riding Connor that the only horses I will ride who are that green under saddle are 13.3 so that if they do offload me, the ground is closer!

LOL I am so with you guys! I used to have the biggest horses in the barn when I was younger .......now you would be hard pressed to find anything over 15.1 at my place!
