I could go on and on about Sarge. I have way too many pictures of him, so let me know when you want me to stop.
Sarge came from Chucks lot in Yakima. He is a GA through CBER. It was the support board that rallied for him, and I offered to take him if they raised the money. All the wonderful people raised the bail very quickly and I went to pick the old boy up in September of 2006. He's had lots of health problems, but I think we're good for now.
Many people have helped him once he got here to my house, as well. Rocky has sent donations for feed and coupons for more. Bwyatt sent a blanket, which has made a huge difference in his happiness. Shelberttk2 visited and gave him treats and treats and treats... Tired Dog has given medical thoughts on his blind eye and lots of support. Well, many, many of you have given tons of support and we appreciate it all. I guess I'll start at the beginning with pictures. Here we go...
These are from his first day home.
After a visit to the vet.
And, a few days after that...
Some interesting identifying marks.
In blankie from bwyatt
Gaining some weight
Infection returning in leg
After 2 rounds of increasingly strong oral antibiotics, we had to go to injections. 3 shots a day.
He remained sweet through it all.
Out of the woods!
Meeting Gambler (CBER)
Starting to get a winter coat.
He could finally bear enough weight on the leg to pick up the others for a trim!
Being a nanny.
Nasty scab. It finally did fall off.
Muddy buddy
Goofy face
And...are you ready for this?
